Children in need
Children in need created a big buzz around the work place with remarkable and entertaining events occurring throughout the day, which raised a total £416.18. Sterling then matched this amount to give the largest amount raised for Children in Need by the company to date, of over £800!
Numerous staff got involved in wacky competitions such as "Who can eat the most cream crackers?" and "Who can eat the most baked beans with a cocktail stick?" These were won by a dry mouthed Jay Worsfold and the baked bean kid Joe Hunt.
Contributions were also raised by brave Paul Lewis who waxed his legs for the charity. Stephen Dransfield also made a courageous input, by having his chest hair waxed in the shape of the Sterling "S" in front of a large crowd of spectators, there to cheer him on.
